Meet Kathy

As an MFA candidate in Creative Writing and a Teaching Associate at San Jose State University, I bring a wealth of knowledge and expertise to my students. I have worked as a high school creative writing teacher, writing tutor, and summer camp leader with students of all ages—from preschool to university. I believe in nurturing each student, providing not just academic support but also moral support throughout their learning journey. I would love to help your student unlock their confidence and reach their leaning goals!

When I’m not tutoring or teaching freshman composition at San Jose State, I can be found working on Reed Magazine as Senior Nonfiction Editor, reading, or dancing!
